I don't know if you got back to your front end Scott. I just did my LCAs in the driveway. I cheated a bit and bought complete units from Raybestos. Popped right in, but the grease fitting on the ball joint is tough to get to past the CV.

I only had one frozen bolt, the right, rear. My suggestion is a 4 1/2" angle grinder with a metal cutting blade. Put it between the washer and the bushing. Won't mess up the frame bracket and cuts pretty easy. I only had a 4" grinder, which would not quite go all the way through, had to finish up with the Sawzall.

The greaseable bolts worked great. The only issue is getting the front ones in past the axle shaft. You just have to slide the sleeve in from the front about half way, then slide the bolt and washer through from the back. Easy-Peasy.

Off for a much needed alignment. Got some wonky camber going on now. Looks like a NASCAR short tracker.

Well im done for the weekend and maybe the year for working on my truck
Did front and rear brakes, inner + outer tre's, uca, lca, alingment cams, cv's, shocks,springs, tire swingout, wired my new license plate light and ran wiring for new backup camera and reverse lights, painted underside of truck, greased everything
Next up
Sliders
Skids
Mount air comp " going to be a pain"
Mount tank and plumb it
Boot slide mod
Double water can holder
Add flag mount
Finish reverse camera
Install gorilla tires
Beat / cut everything to fit gorilla tires
Then a was and wax and interior detail
What a weekend

BE careful with those Alignment cam bolts. It is real easy to strip out the hole on the cams so the bolt spins without the cams. The nice folk at Firestone fouled up two of mine while flattening two of the cam tabs.

Updates
Threw these tc uca's on

Pit there rotors all around
And new front calipers and pads as well

Painted the roof racks

Gutted my xreas and entire front end
Replaced lca's, bj's, tre's,cv's,kings up front and icon overland and 2.0 out back
Some skyjacker ext sway bar links

Installed front hidden hitch

Some new greasable alignment cams

did you have to buy replacements? or did you tack weld them back>?
i just pretty much finished up all my front end and rear end .....
all i got left now are the fun mods

what do i need to swap them in?

You can get clear lenses amber bulb turn signals as well, its just a cutout in the bumper they push into on the CBI's. I went with the clear lenses instead of the yellow ones.

Its more of i hate the running
I am going to try and eliminate them and just make a blinker in the headlight
Or just make the blinkers blink and not stay on all the time

Which replacement front calipers did you get? I need to do mine very soon.

I picked up what ever advanced auto had in stock
I am out of town for the weekend
But when i get back i will check for you

IDK what you have against running lights, but the blinker/drl has 3 wires - 1 hot, 1 ground for blinker and 1 ground for DRL. DOn't connect the DRL one.

Ruins the fishing
Ruins all night vision

I just removed the bulbs un the pocket door or puddle lights
Now when i open a door no lights happen
Makes me happy
Now next week i need to cut wire 15 to kill the key in ign chime
Then all i have left are the stupid running lights
Nothing like starting the car in the woods or beach and lighting up the whole ****ing place

Didn't realize we could get rid of that stupid ignition chime! Thanks for posting that, I looked it up and am going to do that today! I HATE that thing!!!! Ugh

HAd to weld the cam tabs back where they should be on one side.

This was in no fault due to the moog cams correct?
Just alignment shop error.
Not the same guy that did not tighten the cams at that rausch trip was it

Same shop, don't know if it was the same tech. The Moog cams are a bit wek by design compared to the Toyota units. The tech just needs to be ginger with them. I cannot imagine why he needed to muscle mine. Brand new LCA's with well lubed adjusters. Should have moved around pretty easy.

They moved like butter
