BudBuilt bump out sliders

Got the sliders on this evening. Very high quality. Two of the bolts would not go in on the drivers side, but there are nine or so others that did so I am not worried about it. I will whore some better photos later, but here is the general idea.

My daughter loves the kick out with treadplate. It is a perfect step for her so she can get right in now. I could have easily used the standard sliders from BudBuilt as there is plenty of space to use as a step on the front as well. Part of me wishes I had, but I know that is just me wanting what I did not buy. I am super happy with them, just need to see them during the day and on some trails

I am contemplating bump outs or not also. Why do you wish you would have gotten the standard? Just asking because I don't have little ones so I don't really need the step.

Human nature I suppose. I just wasn't aware quite how much of a step the regular sliders would be. I don't regret the bump out, dont take it the wrong way, I just would have thought a little more about the regular sliders had I known. For my daughter it was a no brainer, bump outs and tread plate so she can maintain her independence lol.

Are those beefy? :hiding: :lmao:

All kidding aside, I am starting to really like those. If my steps get busted up, those are definitely on my short list!

Looks great! I am going to a similar look with my BP LTD. Black rack, black sliders, but I think I am going to add black wheels. Enjoy them!

I think you will appreciate the bump out if you ever find yourself in a situation that requires you to turn sharply around a rock. It will push the rear of your rig away from the rock and allow your rear tire and rear rig to pivot around it instead of going over or into it.
Lots of protection for the tire and rear of your rig.
I use them constantly on my crawler and have actually adapted my driving style to utilize them to the fullest.
they will be on my 10 runner soon.

Now- lets see some daytime shots of those bumpouts getting USED!!

The bumpouts are really starting to grow on me. At first, I wasn't a huge fan, but now I really like em. Unfortunately for me, I bought shrockworks sliders. Though. if I did the bumpouts, I would probably go with the full tread plate.

Nailed it. Exactly the reason I'm going with bump out sliders as well.

I too installed my Sliders yesterday. They look great.

Very nice Brock! I like the direction you're taking with your 4R. Front and rear bumpers anytime soon? :)
