Buddy lookn to get a 96 T4R....?'s

I have a good friend looking to get a 96 4runner limited. I posted the link to it on craigslist. I have a 2005 T4R LMT V8 and he wants a runner too. Can you guys look at the link and let me know if you think its a pretty good deal.

That's a good deal, especially if it has a clean history. It looks extremely clean in the pictures. If you could get them down to about $5700.....I'd take it and run!


-check front axle boots
-check rear axle seals (leaking onto rear brakes)
-check frame rust and rear differential/axle/suspension area
-make sure timing belt/water pump etc has been done on schedule
-make sure it drives nice!

It looks like it has a rear locker too. I'm sure Quicksilvr would know if it's a good deal since you guys live in the same state, but I think it looks pretty darn clean, especially for a '96. 200K+ isn't a big deal IMO, but I would definitely check the things Quick listed and I would have a 3rd party mechanic go over it if your buddy isn't very mechanical.
