Sweet! That reminds me of a cool second generation color, but with more POP! I will always love the grey, silver, and dark blue colors that I think of when I think classic Toyota colors. I like how they have brought back the dark blue option on the 5th gens, and 4th gens.

Thanks all. There are a lot of good colors here, but wanted to go a little custom but still in the spirit of the truck. It's neat because in the sun you see the diamond effect from the paint job as well.

I always liked the OEM wheels but wanted to go a little darker to make them pop, but thought in this case black wouldn't do the wheels justice.

This is my second 4Runner and these vehicles are great. I will be driving this until it dies which hopefully isn't until 500,000 km +

Wow man. Awesome job. I have few questions. How did you replace the rocker pannels ? Did you buy a new rocker panel of somewhere and weld it in? Or did you cut it of another truck and welded it on yours ? What was the most difficult part about fixing the rocker pannels ? I've noticed you have some rust on your frame, you should of taken the body of the frame and sanded it everything. But anyways, I admire your work. Post more pics of how you fixed the rocker pannels please.

Thanks they actually put glass in the paint to add the shine. It's nice, because you only see it in the sun.

I went to a guy that does seat upholstery. Around $1500.00 expensive, but with that and the new rug it smells like new. If you use it as a daily driver, and like a nice interior worth the money.

Unfortunately, had to purchase new rockers And then had the shop cut and weld them in. The good news is the doors open like brand new. They are really tight now.

Yeah the frame was beat up so they cut out the rust and reinforced. I also winter sprayed it. I don't think the frame will ever be as nice as some others on here, but the oil spray should keep the surface rust from spreading.
 
The interior is looking fantastic. Did you have the whole carpet replaced? If so, where did you get the replacement from?

Can't remember, one of those places online. Just type in 4Runner carpet replacement and you will find a few. Or search this site. People here are really helpful and have good advice
