I haven't seen one of these threads on here so thought it would be pretty cool to start one! @OC_Overland is starting to do one every Tuesday for #tuesdaybreakdown so let's see these rigs!!!
The purpose of this thread is to post a quick and easy way to let others know what current set up you have on your rig and what gear you carry without the in depth build thread. Either the gear you carry daily or the gear you bring while your out off-roading/camping - EITHER OR. Along with some pics!

this is for quick bullet point type; pretty similar to the signatures, you're correct. but with what gear people carry on the daily/on off-road trips. there are always questions regarding that so this is a good place to let people know what you carry along with your current build.

My '16 TE is stock with AT tires. I carry a wool blanket, duct tape, jumper cables, flashlight, a few straps and a screwdriver or two. I also carry a swiss army knife.

2015 SR5 Premium. Stock tires; 2 car seats; Strollers; Duct tape; Multi took; Water Bottles; Towels; Diaper Change Pack; NoCo Battery Jump/accessory charger; Bungee chords.

Recovery gear in plastic storage bin taken on trips. (Masterflow MF-1040 Portable Air Compressor; D-Rings & Tow Hitch Shackle; Recovery Strap; Tow Strap; Fire Extinguisher; Smittybuilt Shovel/Recovery Utility Tool; Small Mechanics Tool Set, Tie Down Straps/Bungees, Tire Repair Kit, J.T. Brooks Tire Deflators, Corona 10" folding saw)

and all of the rest of the stuff in my signature.

I have full armor and skids, currently on King mid-travel suspension and Nitto 34's. Keeping suspension simple with just the Kings and TC UCAs, no rear links. I did delete both sway bars.

Most important thing I carry is probably recovery gear to support my winch (snatch blocks, soft shackles, regular shackles, tree saver), have used it about a dozen times by now. Please buy good recovery gear and don't skimp on whatever's cheap. I also carry a full tool set, trail spares and hardware (carried a CV and tie rods that my buddies also use), first aid/trauma kit, fridge, RTT, solar, lots of camping gear. Longest I've been off grid with the truck has been 8 days.

I guess most of my other mods are in my build thread, but when building a vehicle and offroading, buy right once. Things do break, bring spares. Don't overbuild and buy armor unless you need to- I wish I was about 1000lbs lighter but my armor has saved me multiple times over. And have fun.

Jeeze where to start. I've got a ton of camping gear and am constantly modifying what I'm bringing depending on the trip.

Vehicle wise:
I'm on OME shocks and springs(885/889), full steel skids, sliders, K9 rack, 275/70R17 E-rated KO2s, 31M Battery, dust lights, Rigid driving lights, etc.

Other accessories: Maxsa recovery boards, ARB fridge, rear window molle racks, ARB Awning, shovel, various recovery gear like different straps, shackles, tree saver, air compressor, tools, jerrys, etc.

Camping gear is too much to list, but things change depending on weather and type of cooking. I've got various gear from MSR, GSI, REI, and Coleman.

I use 4 Wolf Pack boxes and have them labeled accordingly.

Bumpers are the next big items for me. I could probably improve a little bit on more tools and spares, but I think the most important thing to bring on any trip is mindfulness of your abilities, your gear, as well as the folks you are with. The equipment is only as good as the person using it.

I won't go into too much detail because a lot of you guys have seen this rig, either here, or all over the internet (sorry).

Expedition long travel style build. Basically built to haul camera gear into some wacky places that a sprinter vans for production wouldn't get up. This year has been an ass kicker for work, or lack of work, so no camping this year yet.

But the truck is fully armored up underneath using ARB and RCI skids. Kings and Total Chaos long travel suspension and some custom bits here and there.

I think the truck is pretty cool on the outside, but I love opening up the inside to show the goose gear setup, fridge on the drop slide, comms gear, etc etc.

Most critical components are the varying levels of medical gear I carry in the truck. Lots of times on the way though Oregon to Utah I've come up on accidents and rendered first aid while waiting for 911. It's amazing how little people think about medical accidents, but carry the wildest recovery gear.

As Weeeee said, I wish the truck wasn't 6500lbs. But I think the best advice I've learned is don't be so committed to a mod that you can't admit something didn't work like you wanted, and thus tear it out and re-think it or ditch it entirely.

I just use a Rigid box to store most of my trail/emergency gear; VAIR pump, 30ft snatch strap, wrenches/socket/screwdrivers, various spare sae-metric bolts/washers/nuts, gloves, glowsticks, jumper cables, various length racket straps/tie-downs/zip ties, duct/electrical tape, pry bar, shovel, Fisker axe, tire patch kit, ARB deflator, tire gauge, hitch & shackles, flashlight/headlamp, multi-tool, folding blade, first aid kit, LED strip/power bank, spare mini fuses & add-a-fuse. I keep all these items loaded in the box/trunk at all times.

I've actually used all the above at one point either camping, on the trail or just assisting another vehicle.

Other stuff; ARB awning, TRED 800 traction boards, 20L Scepter water container, Rotopax 4gal.

Lift: FOX 2.5 IFP & 2.0 shocks, OME rear coils, JBA Offroad UCA.
Tires: 285/70/17 Nitto Grappler.
Armor: Addicted Offroad bumper, RCI front, tranny, tranx, sliders.
Rack: Prinsu 3/4 and Gobi ladder.
Misc: ARB locker for making easy work on the trails.

Thanks. Pretty much ~3". Don't have an exact measurement but right after the lift it was >3". After settling a bit and with additional weight from skids and gear, I'd say its somewhere between. 2.5-3".

Mine is loaded/unloaded depending if I'm camping. But here's what's in there all times:
platform storage, tools, recovery gear, first aid kit, farm jack, air compressor, tie rods, cv axle, oil, gear oil, rad fluid, sliding fridge, portable power/inverter

camping: food/beverage, cookware supplies, dutch oven, propane heater (cold weather), hot shower system (long camping trips)
roof rack: 10gal gas, 5gal water, crate air matress, table, tent, 3-4 fold chairs, 2 bundles wood,

day run: food/beverage, 5gal gas

That's about it.

Popup Tent

Thinking about mounting my (ground) popup tent on the roof, but don't trust the stock tent bag - any ideas?

Where do you store yours?
