SSR-G Rear Wing
Time for a very late update!
So it's been a while since I installed the rear wing from an SSR-G Hilux Surf and I've gotta say, this is definitely one of the most useful mods on my 4Runner. I use it almost every day!

For the install, I decided to disassemble the wing in order to study the pin-out for the wiring.
Open! As you can see, it had a bunch on sand covering everything.

I disassembled everything and gave it a good cleaning.

Here's my big problem. I couldn't source the factory male plug for this connector, so I had to make a custom harness. This is the pin-put from the female connector end. I can make a wiring diagram if anyone needs it, but basically the wires were as follows: Red=Positive Battery Connection for Motor, White and Dark Blue=Ground, Purple=Up Signal, Brown=Down Signal and Light Blue= Positive Connection for 4th Brake Light (you'll see what I mean).
Here's the factory switch that controls the mirror. It does not have an auto mode. I have to trigger the up and down motion of the mirror whenever I need to use the mirror.
To improvise a harness, what I did was use a 5-pin trailer harness I got for roughly $12. Since there were six (6) wires coming from the wing, I simply combined the two ground wires and matched up the rest to my specifications.
I did not feel like drilling a hole on my tailgate, so instead I opted to passing the wires just above my 3rd brake light by grinding off a little bit of the lens. Needed replacing anyways since it's in rough shape, so I might change this in the future. It still works so that's why I called the additional light on the wing the 4th brake light earlier. That black piece you see was a bit of door edge guard I used to not pinch my fingers while forcing the wires through.

...under the headliner and through the driver side up to the front of my 4Runner.
Back to the actual wing, I sanded down the old paint and used a dark gray primer.
For paint, I had a local shop mix a few base/clear spray cans of the one and only Imperial Jade Mica 6Q7. Not bad for a spray can paint job
After drilling four holes to mount the wing, here's the final product. Closed position...

here's the view from the inside. As you can see, I have perfect visibility of my hitch and rear bumper. Very useful when backing up to hook-up a trailer, or simply parking while mall crawling...
And here's a beauty shot at the beach. You can see one of my new LED auxiliary lights under the bumper. These are connected to the blue 3-way switch shown in one of the pics.
