I'll play devil's advocate and say no for mine at 125,000, but that is due to the previous owners towing a 20ft boat with OD on all the time for the first 60,000 miles. And this is something I expected in the future back in 2006 when I bought the 4runner.
Aisin makes some great transmissions. I'd probably rank them right behind Allison as far as durability goes.
The OP gets great service out of his due to all the Liqui Moly liquids it has been subjected to over the years.
Oh...the ghost of Little Caesar rises again while "hatin on LiquiMoly products" LOL. I like the way you take jabs at me buddy.....no problem.
Seriously, I am OCD about PM on everything about my truck. If I die, I plan to be buried in my truck (Yes, I love it that much)
With respect to the tranny (No...not talking about Caitlyn Jenner here...) just do above and beyond what might be "minimal"....for example:
1. Use a high quality synthetic transmission fluid. (Mobil1 Synthetic ATF in my case)
2. Bypass the radiator and put in a quality AT cooler.....
3. Drain and fill at least once a year
4. Install a MAGNEFINE filter and replace every 30-40K
And in respect to Little Caesar, crawl under your rig and rub some LiquiMoly on the whole transmission housing and celebrate with a cold beer afterwards.....works wonders! (Forgive the sarcasm folks......LOL)
