Bumper List

Im just going to contribute these photos:

this is one of my favorite trucks on this entire forum. Not a huge fan of the wheels but the black flares, "crinkle finish" ODL without hoops, and thundercloud color, are just too much for me..... (SnowRambler's truck)

And a great shot of an ARB on Vic's truck that I took this summer:

maybe its just me but I think plate bumpers without hoops look :pimp:

Is the rear bumper from Addicted their 2nd Gen bumper? If it fits, why don't they advertise it as a 3rd Gen bumper too?

Something tells me that if it did fit the 3rd gen, they would advertise it.

Also, That is the Trail Gear bumper on Addicted's website. I'm pretty sure that the reason why they don't list the 3rd gen bumper is that they need to install it on the truck in house.

The second gen bumper on Addicteded site is the production Trail Gear I believe. But Scotty built a sweet rear that he sells but isn't on his site. It looks like this

This bumper, well a version VERY close to this bumper, should be out for ordering soon. We picked up the bumper brackets from the supplier yesterday. I am hoping to get the donor rig into the shop on Monday so we can build it, then pull it off and build the jig for it, and then order the brackets for production.

I will have a pre-order available and a discounted price for anyone wanting to order it ahead of time.

Will there be versions for the wider flares?

I will be opening up pre-orders tomorrow on our new rear bumper for 3rd gens. This bumper is a bolt on design. No welding required of any kind.

The frame mounting brackets are .250 wall press bent. The bumper will slide into your frame, and will mount to where your original stock tow hitch originally mounted. It will utilize the same mounting hardware as well and uses 4 bolts on each side.

For those of you who did not have a factory tow hitch, don't worry we will have a cheap remedy for that as well. It will be a hardware add-on "kit".

The bumper will have a tow hitch included, but we will not be able to "rate" the bumper for towing. However, I can tell you that the bumper is likely stronger than the factory hitch is anyway.

The factory spare tire holder can still be used with this bumper as well.

The pre-order price on this bumper is $499. I am limiting that to the first five people that order it. After that, the bumper will be going up to $549. So, if you want one at $50 off, get it ordered in a hurry. I expect to be able to ship the first ones out on or before January 1st. So, hurry up if you want it!

Shipping will be flat rate of $75 to the continental US.

You can pre-order by calling me directly at 970-420-4198

Here are pics of the same design on my old 4runner. It will be virtually identical to this. I will add new pics of the prototype as soon as we finish it and have the jig built.

I think the 4x4 Innovations plate option is a great way to go. At around $600 bare (no hoops, powder coat...etc) it's tough to beat considering the styling is really nice. You could probably get it and prime/paint or bedline it for under $700 if you do it yourself.

Can you post a photo of the bumper with the rear hatch open?

Thanks.

Is anyone running the savage rear bumper without a body lift. I think it is the most reasonably priced out there with the best departure angles, but it looks like the savage rear bumper is kinda bulky where the tubing wraps around the body... can anyone supply some pics that are better than the one pic they have on their website. Something other than the bottom of it.
