Bumper Question

so since no one works on 4runners around my area I've been looking t fm's for rims and tundras for shocks, and tacoma etc. ANYWAYS

i found an 07 fj cruiser with an aftermarket front bumper i wanted to know if it would bolt up to my 99 4runner limited 4x4

this is the bumper:

id probably have the extra loops on the side cut off ... maybe all 3 if it fits just cuz that won't lighn up with the lights

i am pretty sure the platform for fj cruisers are the same for the 4th gens. so i would say no to your 3rd gen. you could always measure is side to side and up and down. then maybe if its close to fitting you could fab up some brackets. but a direct bolt up. i would say no.

I think you are better off buying one that was designed specifically for the 3rd Generation 4Runner. There are a lot of good choices out there.

I would pass on it. Both the FJ and the 4th gen 4Runner are over a half a foot wider that the 3rd gens. I think it would look funny sticking out on the ends.

yeah unless it was free and you wanted to cut and weld the hell out of it to fit, I'd just get one made for a 3rd gen. Plenty of choices out there.
