Hello Everyone!

I would to first start off by thanking everyone for all the help and information on the FJ swap. ARK- Thanks for your spreadsheet and break down of everyone that has done the swap.

Couple weeks ago Mojo and myself installed FJ Springs, toytec 1/2 spacer, and spidertraxx wheel spacers ( 1.25) on my 08 UrbanRunner. I know it's been awhile but the weather has been bad and it's been super busy around my house so here we go:

Stock mesurements:
Front 33.25'
Rear 35.25-35.5

After FJC springs & toytec spacer
Front 35.25
Rear 36.65

I think the Runner looks great now and i love the aggressiveness the wheel spacers were able to proved as well as the TOYTEC spacer and springs to level it all out. Since I've had it the responsiveness of the vehicle has been better 10 fold. It is much more of a stiffer ride but better at that. Also, when taking turns I'm not thrown into the passenger seat so that always a plus. Now i just can't wait for my new tires!!!!!! Any recommendations on size? 265/70 or 265/75? What do you think? Im planning of getting the Hankook Dyna Pro ATM's.

Looks good! I just did the exact same thing to mine and LOVE the results!

I went with 265/70's and think it's a great size with the lift. I did have rubbing after I installed the Spidertrax, but easily corrected that. I just had my alignment done yesterday so I have to see if I need any additional clearance. Another size to consider would be the 255/75's that are gaining popularity.

Looks good, surprised you got that much in the rear, leveled out nicely though!!! Not sure on tire sizes since you have 18's, I'd recommend the equivalent of the 255/75's but don't know if they are available. I love my ATM's, another member just posted a review in the Performance section.

i think 255/75/18 would be a little much on the lift you have. I'm going with the hankooks in 255/70/18. That is a 32" tire and should be plenty for a spacer lift.

On a side note, do you have the v8? Looks like according to your measurements you got about 1" front and 1" rear lift from the springs. is that right? seems like alot.

Yes 1 in the rear and front. It turned out real well. Hankook doesn't make a 255/75/18 anyway so looks like ill be stickin to 265/70/18. Thanks all!

Hankook makes a 255/70/18 which is equal to the 255/75/17.. Which for your lift is perfect.. Like Bigwebb said, anything bigger you will need more lift. Actually no company from what I looked makes a 255/75/18

Doozi- what's next for the Runner?

I'm thinking about a 4300k HID kit, LED interior bulbs, some kind of fog light upgrade, and I want to build a custom set-up for the pups/cargo. And... you know how it goes... on and on!

Will the 255 be better that I have the wheel spacers? What are are the advantages of running 265?

There is a 10mm difference in width between the 2 tires, 265 being slightly wider. The 255 will be slightly taller. It depends on what your looking for.

To help the forum out, when you mention tires, put the complete size in with the question, this will close open ended questions.

Also remember this a 265/70/17 will be different than a 265/70/18 so when you are comparing to other 4runners make sure your comparing the same wheel sizes. It seemed you may have not known that, if you did I appologize for taking it that way.
