Buying a 4runner - need advice

i'm new here and i'm serious about getting a 2015 4runner but i'm torn between trail premium and the limited. i'll do a lot of on-road driving but the roads here are very bad and full of cracks and dips. i definitely want the softest ride that a 4runner can get. any suggestions?
Be sure check out this thread....I have same desire for ride.

"2015 Limited Ride Improvement"

Don't be scared off the Limited because some people on this forum think it's only good for driving to the mall or the soccer pitch. That's pretty much hooey.

The major complaints I often read about here are that they don't like the wheels/tires (20"/245's) or they don't like the suspension system (X-REAS). But then dig a little deeper and you'll find out that many detractors with Trails and SR5's replace their stock wheels/tires and their stock suspension systems. If you want or need to, you can do the same with a Limited.

Now if the Limited didn't have a transfer case, if it didn't have 4-wheel drive, if it didn't have the same body-on-frame architecture, if it didn't have the same opportunities for modding to meet you needs, that would be a different. But it does.

As Oljedi11950 said, buy what suits your fancy.

So in summary I would say:

1) The SR5 is probably the 4Runner for the majority of buyers.
2) The LE is more for those who plan on urban driving or wanted extra features and plan to swap wheels and tires.
3) The Trail is for those of us who do off-roading on passes and trails that are in the realm of moderate to slightly above but not extreme (with a stock vehicle).
4) The TRD Pro I have not seen or driven. Only thing I know is I read there are Trail options (I think it was the KDSS) you cannot get on the TRD Pro. Go figure.

Fixed that for you...

It was kind of a tongue in cheek/wink statement Jay. A little ribbing for you LE guys.

The LE is a great vehicle (like all 4Runners are) I just think the 20" wheels and all the chrome put it into that Cadillac Escalade category of "There is not a gravel road within 300 miles of my house but.... I am ready should they make one". :-)

I know, I was too... I don't care for the chrome and wheels either.
