Aside from eBay, where is the cheapest place you guys have found to buy new headlights? Sorry forgot to mention, I'm looking at OEM only.

Prices look reasonable. I picked up a pair of OEM LEs for $175 from a private seller on Craigslist recently. He was also doing a retrofit and didn't need his stock pair, which only had 4500 miles on them. Might want to give Craigslist a shot, but only if you can check them out in person considering you're inspecting the lenses for scratches and fogging. Since these are retrofits, my main concern would be the headlight lenses, and attachment points.

I still have the set I took off of my 2010 sitting in boxes in the garage if you want to buy them. Yes they do have the fog but if you are doing a retro take yours off and retro those and these can be your back up.

Thanks guys. I actually search more on the forum here and found out about the Dallas Toyota site, Toyotapartsales. I picked up a pair of Trail smoked headlights. After I saw this gallery, it was an easy choice :D

Pretty cool! How much was it total with shipping?

I ordered most my trail conversion parts from them. I can't say I had 100% positive experience. One of the parts was damaged and she (Barbara) refused to replace it. It was damaged before it got shipped.

Hope all your stuff comes in in good shape.

Damn that's no good!

It was $463 shipped to Caesar at Lightwerkz. I can only imagine how expensive it's going to be to ship to Canada. Once it crosses that border, prices shoot way up for some reason. Must be like running a gauntlet to get my packages to me lol.

Not to thread jack but you could always wet sand and buff them to get rid of the haze.

Well ,sorry I missed you on this msommers, but will maybe help the next guy buying parts .From reading on the Taco forum, where they are highly recommended,I recently found that Camelback Toyota, out of Phoenix has some of the best online pricing for Toyota parts .

I've always bought from Toyota of Dallas online as I'm local and can just order online and pick the parts up at the counter and have had no complaints. However I do get charged tax so I may give Camelback a shot next time with free shipping and no tax.

I just looked up the 2012 TE headlights and they are $180 with free Fedex shipping. 2012 TOYOTA 4RUNNER Parts - Camelback Toyota Parts - Genuine OEM Parts - Free Shipping

With 2010's and 2011's headlights ,the top haze will come back as it was a proven flaw in the plastic formula used for the majority of the lenses. They addressed it with a SB that replaced them and were fixed on the 2012's and 13's.

My first set of 10's had to be polished out every couple of weeks and since I got 2012 lenses here on the forum ,they have looked like new for over a year .Night and day difference as my first ones starting hazing in 6 months and were polished so many times it was starting to wear the top layer off. Whatever it was they got it right now.The part that sucks is they didn't change the part number so you don't which year your getting by the part number as they look physically the same.............until they haze or not.

I have my old set boxed in my storage shed out back and the rest of the headlight parts are brand new 12's ,ready for a retrofit and swap lens!

Wow that's too bad, would have been $100 cheaper all said and done. Oh well, they're on their way to Lightwerkz now. I too was hoping all the 10/11's had been cleared out by now so hopefully 12/13 model is what I bought!

This is great info!!! Nice find!
As I said earlier, I had a terrible experience with Toyota of Dallas and was hoping to never have to deal with them again.

Perfect timing. :thanks:
