First half of the trip through Utah

Well I am getting back and settled from my trip. I drove 2750.9 miles in 11 Days. Sorry for the grainy pics, these were pulled from my phone. I used my new Sony A7ii on these(upgraded my Canon 50D), but was wifi syncing the photos to my phone for quick social media updates.

I got an early start to Vegas the night before my long drive, to get a head start. I made a drive though Zion and made my way to Fishlake National Forest

Random trail before I got to Zion led me here

The east side once I got through Zion had a nice pasture

I then made my way to Echo Park Campground in Dinosaur National Monument. between BLM and National lands, I took about 30 miles of dirt to get here.

On my way out I took Echo-Yampa Trail(45 Miles of dirt from the campground) which runs along the canyon and found this lookout point.

After Dinosaur, I made it over to Grand Lake, CO and took advantage of the clearest skies I had on my trip.

Colorado and into Arizona

I spend a few days with friends in Ft. Collins area, but then met a friend down in Denver and we made our way down to Ouray, CO.

I made the mistake of saying, we can just start up the trail and camp the night before we went to explore Alpine Loop. It was raining a tad, at night and we did the first part of Mineral Creek Trail. That was interesting to say the least.

My friends truck was starting to limp by time we got to Animas Forks, so he decided to make the trek back to Denver before any further damage. I decided to make camp here and explore a bit.

The next morning, I decided to head back to the highway through California Gultch/Hurricane Pass and Corkscrew Gultch

I made my next stop at Molas Lake(No pics) to get a good nights rest before venturing off to the Grand Canyon

Arizona

My friend gave me a tip to cut through the Havasupai tribal lands to get to Havasupai Point. The view was truly amazing on the south rim of the canyon. The trail was 30 miles(each way) of sketchiness to say the least. I did a majority of this trip solo, so I didnt stay in this spot too long. I was worried about getting back without getting stuck and maximizing recovery time.

On my way home, I ventured down the 89A and took a peek at Sedona. I definitely need a dedicated AZ trip though.

Well its been over a year since I have posted (:sorry:) and I've added many more mods. I will be jumping in here the next few days to update on my build.

Overview of what I've added are a second battery, custom plywod rear drawer set up, Rear OME Springs and KO2's. Work has been hectic, but I am trying to get back in to regular postings between my IG Account, my web site and starting to get in to video with my YouTube Videos. Links are in the signature if you are curious.

Since everyone likes picture, Here are a couple from Thanksgiving weekend in Big Bear, CA. :hungry:
