Has your foot gotten heavier since installing? I know my MPG dropped after my drop in, then after my k&n fipk and again recently after my aFe. It levels out over time once you stop driving faster or accelerating harder to hear it.
I think in this test, a filter is a filter, regardless of engine or fuel. I was absolutely shocked at how poor the K&N performed at actually stopping dirt from passing through.
The results obtained were very, very interesting.
It made me rethink ever buying several of those filters. Or even departing from the Toyota OEM paper filter at all.
