California Highway Patrol - now using Laser

I just relax and do the speed limit +/- 5 MPH and conditions. More relaxing, less stress, safer, don't have to spend money on a detector, no expenditures on tickets, and less gas usage. My driving habits dramatically changed when I took a motorcycle course (Never got a bike, kinda banned by the wife now :) ).

IMHO, a good CB radio is your best defense, especially on the Interstates. If you can stand the chatter and potty-mouth language of Channel 19, you will know where almost every cop is hiding.
:D
The other benefit the CB brings it you'll know about traffic and road conditions well in advance. That knowledge can save you more time than speeding can.

will do the same thing. I have an HTC Dash and it can show traffic pretty much anywhere in the country, and Ive used it for maps overseas - so I could figure out where i wanted to get too
