Can I add an air bag rear susp. with Daystar and X-reas?

After much deliberating and reseach I have decided to purchase a daystar 2.5/1.5 spacer kit which should fit my needs perfectly. However, after veiwing all 40 some pages of the "Lift and Tire Central" thread it seems this kit will get me level or maybe with slight forward rake left. I tow a small boat 1500 pounds and don't want the rear end to sag or have a reverse rake look while trailering. Can I add an after market airbag kit having X-reas and will it work with the daystar kit installed? Or are airbags not compitable with a spacer kit? Thanks guys and gals!

No problems at all with that setup. Check the last link in my sig (about the FJ swap). In the first post there's a table showing some members setups. Some of them I believe have the combo you're looking at.

Oh yeah! That's good to know. It seems like the popular aftermarket choice is the Air Lift 1000. Anyone else have success with another aftermarket rear air suspension setup?

I actaually snagged an airlift 1000 from a member. i like having it on the truck, gives it a more firm ride in the back. i don't like that sqashed musshy feeling

Thanks for the link. I am now concerned that I will have to cut the bump stops. Not a big deal for me, but if I ever want to sell the vehicle and go back to stock, how hard is it replace bumps, is it even possible to do so? Thanks.

u will have to cut the bump stops, as far as returning to stock, the bag system developes leaks over time, so personally, id just leave em in when/if u sell the vec. & install new ones in the updated vec. not worth the hassel of removing them & installing new stops.
