Can I get away with using non-OEM clutch master and slave cylinders?

I just replaced my clutch, flywheel, pressure plate, pilot bearing, throwout bearing, shift fork, and shift fork pivot ball. Now I am having a tough time getting it into gear and I have poor clutch pressure, so I'm thinking of replacing both the clutch master and slave cylinders.

My questions is, can I get away with replacing them with non-OEM parts? I can get an AISIN slave on Rock Auto for $23, and a Dohrman master cylinder for $33.

Village Toyota is charging $50 for an OEM slave, and $100 for an OEM master.

the slave is the oem brand, isn't it? even if no, aisin is good stuff.

I wouldn't use the dorman, go for oem. a few bucks more for the better parts shouldnt be a big deal after what you spent on the other stuff.

after going through multiple aftermarket MC's in several months, I went to oem, and it lasted years. in fact, I think im still using it. transferred it from my truck to my 4runner.

You can use non oem stuff. How long it will last who knows but it may be worth a shot

Aisin is OEM for both. Slave is Aisin #CRT-014 and master is CMT-093.(for the V6)
