Can I Mount Lights on Top of My Fat Lip Bumper?

Any sinking down of the plastic cover when you tightened the bracket? I hear there is a gap between the plastic cover and metal bumper.

No, the top of the bumper still looked flat, and normal. There is a small gap, and I may have used a washer or two as shims, but I honestly don't remember since it's been so long. I just know it didn't take anything custom or special to male it work.

I'm just going to drill through the plastic cover near the grill where the thin black metal is underneath, halfway between the headlights and grill center. I'll let you see how it looks.

Finally did it - very excited about more light and night and they look good! Not sure why my iPad insists on sideways.
