Does anyone know if my 17 TRD Off-Road Premium can be programmed to remotely open my windows? Or is this feature only on the limited/sr5 trim?
I know I can use my key in the gate lock to roll up/down the rear window, but I'd like the other windows to open remotely if possible.

I have a regular '17 Off Road and taking it to my dealer this Saturday to find out if it has the option. I called them and they either didn't know or said only the Limited can do it. I even mentioned that it says "This setting must be customized at your Toyota dealer." on page 97 in the owners manual.
I will post an update as soon as I verify it.

My dealer is telling me I need the smart/remote system to get theses changes programmed to my remote?

It's in the owner's manual under "customizable options". Any dealer with a branium in their cranium can do it via Techstream. Takes about 2 minutes.

When you say "all of them", does that include the rear cargo window? Or just the other 4 windows?

Apparently the shop Forman can't even find it. He was able to find the setting to turn off the seatbelt chime but can't find the window settings

Seriously had to argue with shop manager until he brought out the tech steam system to try it out. Both of the managers were 100% sure it was of available on my model.
After a few seconds of searching, I was able to find it and got it enabled. Tested it out in front of them and everything worked as desired.

I just had this done during my 25k service. I told the service writer that it was available in Techstream. He said he'd need to check to confirm it was compatible. About 45 min. into my wait, the writer comes up and says, "Good news. It's compatible. The tech has the computer all hooked up and the update will run you $65."
$65?! I said forget it. He comes back 5 min. later and said, "The tech already made the update. Since you bought the vehicle from us, we're going to waive the cost."
Looks like I might need to find another dealership.

Yes, every window can be popped open.
Sunroof, 4 windows, hatch.

Sigh. Read his question. It is two parts. Answer to question part #1 is "no". Answer to question part #2 is "yes". Or, to spell it out more accurately: You cannot program the SR5 or TE remote to roll down the rear hatch window, only the 4 door windows.
