Dumb question but... what's the difference between the US editions and the Canadian editions besides the running boards?

well, for starters:
If you buy a CDN Limited Edition, it only comes with a 3rd row seat (no cargo floor), and you must accept tan leather interior, no matter what exterior color.

Do the US Trail Editions have leather steering wheel? I remember someone commenting that the Canadian ones didn't.

In Canada, there are only 2 available options on the Limited, and that is with or w/o navigation. I think in the US, they have different trims such as you can get 5 seater or 7 seater, whereas in Canada, they are all either 7 seater w/o navi or 7 seater w/ navi.

Also, we do not get the 4 cylinder in Canada. I'm not sure, but I think some of the body cladding on the Canadian SR5 was different, or was it the Trail that had different cladding? Can't remember exactly right now.

All Canadian models are 4WD, there are no 2WD models in Canada.

No leather steering wheel in the US TE. Only the pleather or rubberized compound.
