Can't find source of leak!

Hey fellow 4runner friends. Long time lurker here. I don't have a build thread yet, but I will do one once I find the source of the leak and wash my 4runna :ranger:. A few weeks ago I purchased the B&M 70268 transmission cooler and followed Bigfishallday's write-up and everything went smooth except taking off the old hoses. A couple days after that I noticed my the bottom half of my AC condensor was soaked in AT fluid, so I tightned up the clamps that connect to the cooler and added some more AT fluid and all was well. Now, I'm having another leak that is driving me nuts:ybrick: and I cannot find the source of it. I've been driving without my grill on lol just hoping it might be the clamps that have loosened .The leak seems to be dripping down the drivers side radiator and AC condensor.

hmmm, was is their any damage to the radiator? like a stray screw driver stuck a hole in the built in trans cooler...? not likely but if that's where it's coming from i'd look for bent / pierced fins on the radiator in the area the cooler lives in, or it could be a hole in the cooler itself, and / or the transmission fluid line.... lots of possibilities.

if no luck, remove the cooler and install new lines back to stock, check for leaks, IF no leaks it's something to do with the cooler and go from their, if it still leaks its the radiator.....

Now that I remember it took me a few times to properly align the zip-ties to the cooler. So, I did make a few big holes on the rad trying to align the zip-ties. I hope its not my rad... The cooler hoses are not leaking. I'd rather it be the cooler than the rad. Let me go outside and take a couple more pics of my rad.

Pressure wash everything, then start it up and stare at it until it starts to leak again.
fluorescent dye added to the trans fluid, then use a uv light to fallow the leak to the source.

well i don't think a pressure washer is the best way to clean it, but something a little less "powerful" maybe the car wash sprayer nozzles and / or brake cleaner, but yes, after cleaning it, stare into the abyss and wait for it to dribble out again.

Thanks tyr0981. I'll clean the bottom AC condenser after class tonight. Now that I completely bypassed the radiator with the trans cooler, I doubt its leaking from the rad. Its either leaking from a cooler hose or the cooler itself... ill dig further into it tonight

Update- Tried cleaning where my atf previously spilled and still leaking... This thing is just pi$$!ng me off. Does anybody have any ideaof what's on with my 4runner?

Start the 4runner with the hood open and with eye protection and look around for fluid. My guess is that the hose may be punctured or the cooler has sprung a leak (seen it happen once).
