Yea those newer luxury cars just don't seem very practucal anymore. I've got a friend's parent who leases a brand new porshe cayenne turbo every two years and the last two have had navi screen failure which was like 5k to fix the whole thing. Of course if you can lease a porsche it isn't a big deal but it's the principle. And then another friend's dad only drives gm(mainly chevy but his wife has a buick) he absolutely hates fords but has never owned one. Never made since to me but sometime in his life it must have rubbed him the wrong way. hahahaha some people just have their opinions and theirs nothing you can do

Yep. If someone is set in their ways about cars, you can't really change their opinion on it until they do themselves.

I had the idea last night when it was really wet and rainy of getting some anti-skid tape and putting it on my ladder.

Tested it out and it works really well.

Sold my 4Runner in August of 2015. Never got around to update the thread.

I was pretty bummed at first. Got a 2014 Jeep JKU in Anvil to replace it. Love it.

Still love Toyota though. My Grandpa has a TRD Pro Tundra and my dad got a Platinum Tundra. Love their trucks.

Was thinking about a newer 4runner. Did not like that it felt exactly the same as my 2004 and that it was 10 years newer.

As for now, farewell, It was a good run.

I think your the one I bought my spider trax wheel spacers off of. I was searching through craigslist one day and I happened to run into your rig being up for sale. Looking through the pictures I saw that in one of them you had the SpiderTrax in the back of the trunk. So I emailed and the man who replied sold me them for $100 for the whole set! It was in the Lake Travis area and I'm just now coming across your build thread! Thanks for the spacers! Was a sick build loved the ladder and roof rack!

Yea that was my Dad. Hope you are enjoying them. I never got around to installing them.
