Cargo Box for Gobi Stealth?

I thought we had a thread on this but since it did not jump up and bite me in the butt it must not exist.

What cargo box are people use on the Gobi Stealth? Looking for one with decent space that won't interfere with anything such as the ladder, hatch, shark fin, etc.

Also want one with the adjustable quick release system I've see on some. What other accessories would be needed?

I'm about to pick up the Yakima 18. But I know for a fact that the 21 will fit. I used a Thule 2100 for beach trips. Although, it doesn't interfere with the actual shark fin, I couldn't tell you about reception as I don't use satellite radio.

The only difference between the 18 and 21 is 2" of height. I couldn't justify the cost difference.

If I knew how to link posts I'd show you what the 2100 looks like on top. It's somewhere in my build thread when I installed the flush mounts and dynamat.

Thanks Bobby. I do use the sat radio all of the time so that would be a major consideration.

Boxes for Gobi

I use a Pelican and or a Hardigg case for trips. My Shepherd is in the back and our stuff is on the roof rack. I just use a couple tie down straps to secure it all. The Pelican cases are dual use for other items not just for the truck. Mike
