CarPlay Question—Updated 2015 4Runner to 2022 Navigation

Hi,

I was able to update my 2015 4Runner to a 2022 navigation system I bought off of eBay. It’s an amazing improvement over the old system, however I’m not able to get Carplay to work.

I was wondering if I needed to buy a new USB port or something like that?

not sure there has been a work around for it yet, may need a usb 3.0 . check the forum below for more info
