CB ant. mount

I was actually wondering that too. I have mine grounded on the bottom side of the connection and it seems to work ok although i do get a bunch of feedback/static when i apply brakes or turns. I think that might be a power issue, if i recall i think i used an add a fuse on the tail light circuit to power the cb, still need to chase that down. Anyways cob, i cant really see in your pic, but i think youre grounded on the bottom side, no?

Yeah, teflon spacer on top of the mount with the lock washer. The bottom piece (where the CB screws into) is direct metal to metal with the mount. I've also drilled a hole into the mount and grounded it to the left tail light ground screw. I do not experience any static or feedback.

With the heat and the 7 service calls I had last weekend I finally had time to finish them up today, HVACR work has been crazy. 6 ready to ship and 7 more that just need a bit more girding then primed.

No problem as long as I make it, depends on work. I will be bringing one for pikeman as well only he doesn't know it yet. I hope he still needs one?:redbrick:
