CB radio question

So just snooping around.

But I'd like to know more about CB radios.

What is needed to install and make everything work.

How much is everything total

Parts needed

Good CB radios.

And how you install into the ash tray. I googled but they are old threads without pics.

Just a curiosity question ill ask and you should ask yourself. What is the intended use? If you are regularly club wheeling and need comms a CB is fine. If you plan on being out away from civilization mostly by yourself wheeling overlanding I would look more at HAM simply due to range.

I have found that a built in CB radio, at least for me, hasn't really been all that useful. I have used it more on my hour commute to and from work communicating with truckers on traffic issues etc. than on a trail.
