You need to get in touch with Marlin as they have prototyped a HD inner tie-rod since they are running 40's on a Taco.

I had spoken with Mike over there before he started showing pictures. I was explaining to him my issues that I've seen and my ideas of a stronger rack but he wouldn't give me any insight on his. Then I see the photos of what he's using. It's a take-out of another vehicle. Which vehicle I have no idea. He's trying to sell it and that's why he won't tell me which rack it is but it's clearly not manufactured from scratch by Marlin.

I've been dealing with this for over a year trying to work out a different rack. That is the weak point for sure. It doesn't even hold up to 35s.

Most likely a Tundra rack. Solo Motorsports has been selling a Tundra rack for 2nd gen Tacoma’s for a while.

Rebooted RCV Axle 7/4/2018

Disassemble, clean and reboot passenger side RCV outer cv. Was the original boot design. Ripped during previous trip at LMFT.

Cut Rear Bumper 7/20/18

Trimmed off an inch of the rear bumper to eliminate the tire rub.

Replaced Rear Link Bushings 7/21/18

Replaced all rear link bushings(Metal Tech 4x4). Lasted exactly one year from last purchase date of previous replacement bushings. Lower sleeves practically fell out on their own.

Will need to replace link brackets with thicker aftermarket brackets.

"Overland Showdown" 7/28-29/2018

First annual Overland Showdown put on by our club (Josh). Easier properties for the Overlanders with scenic road/dirt road time for those who wanted to go those routes. You will not see them in my posts here. Hardly have any photos of my truck and seems to be a reoccurring theme when I lead.
