That's okay, looks like you are well on your way of getting yours sorted out anyway. And the lift looks great!
Thanks!

Alright exactly one week down since I installed the tranny cooler and flushed the fluid and no leaks and 4Runner is running and shifting great! No DSLR picture updates but about to start the projector retrofit, can't wait! Updates soon.
This is an awesome thread! I like your methodical approach to the order you are taking care of things. I have the same exact truck, color, and all. I also have an e36 M-sport that I love. Keep up the great work!
Projector retrofits are fun, albeit a little time consuming (if painting too) but really rewarding. Lots of good project threads on the subject here.
I just did a trans cooler too, no leaks and performance since the add has been great! On average about 20 degrees cooler trans temps across the board and no leaks.
Looking forward to your progress
Is there a good write up you suggest? Is the transmission temp an issue known with these?
Great photos man. When are we going to get our 4runners together and get them muddy?
I'm begging to try out my suspension...also, snow pics....
I know, we need to get them out! And you need to start a build thread already! :tongue1:
I took apart the the window switches and the ECT switches to swap LED's into them. Neither of these take a plug in bulb, the LED has to be soldered to the board on both.
Here is the LED soldered into place; not the prettiest job but it works:

What bulb did you order? I was looking at doing something similar this weekend
It was one of these guys, I had to pull the LED out of the plastic case.

I also bought a new bug shield. The dipshits that stole our 4Runner managed to break the factory bug guard, dented the bumper and scratched the shit out of the hood. I thought it looked kind of naked without one so I threw a new one on today.
My two new headlights were delivered today so I'll start the HID retrofit this week while I'm off work and I also have another factory bumper to throw on. Would have liked to wait for a custom one but I'm sick of looking at the dent so it'll do for now.
Happy Holidays everyone!
Looking good man. I think I may step up to the Hella horns too!
Random note, I like how your pics are taken in the unique foliage of the NW! I've always liked the NW since I visited family in Seattle. Clean, crisp air and little allergies.
I need to hurry up and get done with school so I can move up there while it's still affordable.
GREAT LOOKING PICS! Where did you get your bug shield? I've been trying to junk yard one, but am either too late or they're all a POS.
Where are you also going for your HID's?
Thank you! This is the bug guard I bought; hard to beat it for the price.
