Your 4Runner has come a long way. I'm still going through the thread. The BMWs look really great. Makes me miss my 1992 328 5-speed.

Hi everyone. So...I wasn't happy with the look of the retrofit so I re-did it.

This time I used the following:

Mini DS2 Projectors
Morimoto ballasts and H4 harness
Depo Headlights
Apollo 3.0 Shrouds
Profile Pivot Halos
4500K Lights
I had Paintscratch mix the silver cladding paint in a spray can and used that for the shrouds.

Anyway, I'm very happy with how it turned out. After seeing so many great retrofit projects here I was underwhelmed with my first attempt, this one is MUCH better. The old shrouds looked way too tiny in such a big headlight.

Christian - Another noob retrofit question. Are the D2S projectors that much bigger than the ACME H1's? Or is most of the size difference with the new shrouds you picked?

Hey Brent, no worries. I used the same projectors, just different shrouds.

I thought about reshooting my housings from Black to the same silver gray that I'm using for my grill and hood scoop and rear license plate bezel

I'm just not in a hurry to take my headlights apart again lol

That's how I feel about taking my headlights apart to aim them correctly and add shims.

Hi Everyone, it finally quit raining for a day in Seattle so I got the 4runner washed up and got my headlights adjusted a bit better, I will try and get some cutoff shots when it gets dark.

Thanks! We might be buying a new daily driver for my wife so this will become mine if so, which I'm excited about. No news to report other than that.

4runner is still going strong but sadly I've blown most of my car budget on the BMW so not sure if this will get suspension this summer.

In other news, I bagged my 328i. I know this won't be for everyone but I'm super pleased with how it turned out.

Thanks everyone, sorry for the lack of Toyota content! The wheels are actually Apex Arc 8's but RC300's are great wheels!
