Need some advise/suggestions:
I'm exploring different options of the mods I'm going to do on my center bezel and shift console;
First - I want it to look extremely professional. Basically a factory setup.
The following are the components I want to install:
Scan Gauge II
I want to be able to run the OBD connector behind the bezel. I also want to be able to read parameters easily while driving. The steering column makes the most sense but its unsightly.
Small but Quality CB Radio
I don't plan on buying a ham radio. If I ever need a Ham radio I've began going pretty extreme. I'm open to recommendations on a quality CB radio.
My own personal preference is a clean configuration. Ergonomic and easy to control while driving if needed.
12V Switches and panel
I'm looking to add a DC switch panel with about six switches, mostly for lights and what not. Ditch lights, fogs, rears etc. I've seen a couple of aftermarket brands out there (ARB, OEM, Blitzpro, AirOnboard) but would like your input. Ease of use, interface with the 3rd gen wiring, mounting etc.
What did you replace your 12V plugs and cigarette lighter with?
I've only seen Bandit Runner with exceptional use of plastic designed with CAD and solid works. Is there anyone who has modified their center bezel to factory standards? Also aside from the AEM gauges, what have you done to the blank space on the shift console.
I want to make sure I do it all correctly the first time. I didn't see an actual thread or anything in the Tutorial Documentation section.
As always...thanks!!
