center ceiling dome light

1. my center dome light bulb must be gone after almost 8 years. looks like the toyota part number is 90981-14011. Do i just pry the lens off to remove the blown bulb and replace w new?

2. does the ride come w/ glove box light, i can't seem to remember and it's certainly dark in mine.

All you need to do is pry it with a small screw driver. I put some tape on mine do prevent it from damage to the lens, thats just me tho. I just changed all my interior lights to LED's a few weeks ago and thats all I needed to do.

As far as the glove box light, I believe it only turns on when your head/parking lights are on. Someone might be able to clarify it also.

thx, i pried the lens off and am waiting for the part that i ordered from aap.

the aftermarket sylvania part # is DE3175LL, LL for long life. it's the old incandescent bulb and comes in a pair for about $5.

will check out the glove box next time.

you are correct on the glove box light. If you look up Glove Box in the back of the owner's manual and turn to the correct page it states that the light only comes on when the headlights switch is turned on to parking or headlights. I just replaced mine tonight with an LED and man what a difference.
