Center console lights

I have a heater control light out and figured since I have to pull the center console apart to replace it, I might as well replace all of them to save the hassle down the road. I've read a couple threads on how to remove/install them but can't seem to find which/how many bulbs i need. I'd like to replace all the climate control bulbs as well as the small screen which displays mpg etc. Does anyone know which bulb numbers and how many of each one I need to order? Also is the stealership my best bet? Thanks!

Have you checked out this thread yet? It should be what you're looking for with the attached .PDF file. Also, I bought mine at the dealership. The price difference was minimal to online retailers, plus I was impatient and wanted to replace them right away rather than wait for a shipment to deliver, so I went to the dealer and they had plenty in stock.

Thank you Dylan , wouldn't you know cpl of mine went this morning so off to dealship n AM to get some .

You can get these bulbs much cheaper than the dealership if you buy the actual bulbs at radioshack. I've been told that some radioshack's don't stock them but mine had em in stock.

I had to reuse the bulb holders but that was a simple swap, just untwist the wires and pull out then reverse. if I remember correctly I paid ~$1.50 for a 2 pack vs. $4/ea at the dealership.

center bulbs

Wow if what I just did is it , then for sure ripoff ! Unless the whole module is bad & not the bulbs ? :thumb:

Get bulbs from dealer. Part #'s are here:

Ok so according to the image, since I have a Sport edition, which I guess is the same diagram as the limited, it looks like I will need the following:

2 "A" bulbs (90010-09015)
2 "B" bulbs (90010-09016)
2 "C" bulbs (90010-09017)
1 "D" bulb (90010-09018)
2 "E" bulbs (90010-09019)

Not really sure what the asterisk on the bottom next to the A and E bulb refers to...

The Sport Edition actually falls under "SR5" as the Limited Trim came with Dual Climate controls.

I actually just replaced mine today as I noticed the left most control knob backlight went dead.

The bulbs you need are:

x3 "A" bulbs (the asterisk basically denotes that it can be either or, mine has what I assume is a "E" bulb in that spot)

X2 "C" Bulbs

X1 "D" Bulb

x2 "E" Bulbs

To be honest with you though, the A & E bulbs look identical to me aside for the E bulbs being a green base? Not entirely sure what the difference is. There is a slightly new design to the C Bulbs. The new ones have what look like solid copper leads and are tighter fitting than the original ones, but the part number is the same, so I am guessing it was just a in-line revision.

Heh that's the exact same knob that's out on mine.

Thanks for the help, I wasn't aware of the dual climate control.

Yes my guys suggested just the top 2 bulbs which are the ones that show half/half light for miles ,temp, clock , 2 on top 3 on the bottom , I replaced the top 2 . Fixed till next 1 goes . one I'm referring to is 8192a in diagram

I have a couple lights out, figure if I'm going into the dash I may as well replace them all at once. can you change the color of the hvac control lights? that orange isn't my favorite color.

There are 2 different long slender ones with different part numbers. Either one will work. I had the dealer order them in and they were wrong. the base color are different, but they do work. One bulb has a yellow silicone cover on it as well, removable.
