center console storage organization

I was thinking about using a travel case for a DSLR camera as a way to keep the center console organized. Anyone have any similar ideas or suggestions for me before I go out and shop around?

I found these at Home Depot...not the exact same ones, but the Huskey zipper bags.

I used 6 of them (2 sets)...cds, keys, cards,cords, bullcrap..you know the drill. Just labeled them with contents...very nice , convienent also.

Center Console Storage

I picked up two 6.3 cup OXO containers from a local Bed Bath and Beyond. They are clear plastic with a clear lid. They fit perfectly into the center stoarage console.

Geez, I wish mine looked so neat... I hard wired extra 12v plugs and USB power into my center console, and use regular plastic cups to keep things vertically oriented. I'd take a picture but it's pretty much a mess in there!

It seems like a bag would take up a lot of extra room as well as make it harder to get to things?

just kidding.:whip2: the plastic tub storage looks great. i've been meaning to do the same thing myself but every time i'm in a store looking at them i realize i'm uncertain of the right size and walk out empty-handed.

Ouch, that hurts! Truth be told I had that hacky sack in my 1994 Toyota 4runner that I just sold (a sad day!), so it was my way of transferring my good times from my old 4runner to my new one! I probably have hit the sack once or twice in the past decade, but it's there when the opportunity calls - and it's not buried in my center console - I know right where it is! :hatsoff:
