Center seat belt question

Does anyone know of this is a normal installation of the center seat belt buckle? I went to install the car seat and noticed that the center buckle is on the driver passenger side and not the center.

Any input would be great. Thanks

That's how it is on my 2000. I think it's supposed to be that way, I wouldn't worry about it.

my Canadian 98 is this way. I just though they do stuff backwards, lol #jokes

Yup, correct installation. Notice the arrow... (and that's how my '99 was from the factory)

Probably has to do with some sort of give/bend in the bracket in collisions.

Yup thanks. I didnt notice the arrow at first but noticed when I was taking the pictures. Just thought it was odd at first.
