Some areas close Dec 1st. Like Edison (because of snow).
Not sure with the Millican/East Fort Rock Area. Seems like its open in the winter but it can get some good snow out there. Usually latter in the season though.
Might be a closure for some protected bird like the Yellow Bellied Sapsucker or some such silliness that I am not aware of. :suspicious:
Looks like we could take bits of it in small sections, lots of intersecting road/trail so its not like Edison where you are on a single trail with no way except forward or to turn around.
Big storm again this weekend too.

Shooting was kind of fun. The little bastard is soon to beat me. We shot a few rounds and he kept improving. Damn it.


UPS says sliders will be here tomorrow.

I am going to dealer in person tomorrow to see what's up.

Then new tires and off we go!

Well I'm not sure I can really do any off-roading this weekend (just had a Cortisone shot for my shoulder, doctor said to take it easy for 3~5days) but if you guys want to get together this weekend or do some light trail runs I might be willing to give it a shot. I'll have to organize something between now and my trip back to the Bay Area around Christmas for off-roading.

Also Shearn, I have noticed Brandy gets swamped a lot. How'd the 4Runner turn out? I saw a couple 5th gens come in for lifts, which was yours?

When I had Bursitis/Cortisone shot it felt like my arm had been ripped off at the shoulder. If that's what's wrong with you I would say take it easy.

Uhm... if you want to snag one sure? It's $10 for 2yrs if I remember right. I don't know which trails require it (most of the ones I have seen don't, but it's not a bad idea to snag one and support the Forestry Service) Any forestry office should be able to issue one, but you can order one online also:

It's a long drive from Salem.
We came from Klamath Falls to Salem over the Willamette pass on Hwy 58 last week. That may be enough for me for a while. Thanks for including me.
