So quick question for you guys. I was talking about the trip at work and one of the kids there has a wj on a Clayton long arm on 33s wrapped around a set of trail ready beadlocks. He ask if he could tag along with. I know it's a jeep but it is a wj and the Jeep guys don't even like the wjs.

I don't care what the guy drives. If he is cool, then he is welcome. He may not be welcome in ALL of the photo shoots, but he is more than welcome to wheel with us IMHO.

Quick question for planning purposes on my end. Can someone speak to the average time (out and back) to complete each of these two trails?

hearno is the Flag Pole veteran and 4gin007 is our Peters Mill verteran. Both have indicated that we can expect a 4-5 hour run time (without photo shoots) Tag another hour on top of that for stops and you've got a pretty good estimate.

So this has grown. I'll put this list on this page too.

Check your rally point and be there early so we don't keep the group waiting. I will be at the Cville rally point at 10:00AM.

The final rally point will be at 11:00AM at the Shell Station at 1010 W Market St. Harrisonburg. If we fill up the parking lot (quite possible) there is a Waterman Shopping Center close by. I don't think anyone will miss 10 epic looking 4Runners but if you do you can call my cell: 703-477-4075. I will also be on Channel 8 on the CB. If you are running late please call my cell so we can wait for you. I don't want to leave anybody behind, but waiting half hour to an hour is going to affect the whole group so please try to be early if possible.

I will be camping out Saturday night with a few other rigs from the group at the Little Fort Campground which is right off the Peters Mill Run. We will make a decision Saturday night about when we will start Peters Mill Run on Sunday.

So this is looking like august 22nd meeting at 10 am at the Toyota here in town (C'Ville) then rolling out? Actually thinking about it, It may be better to meet just up the street at the Giant shopping center. more room and we can grab breakfast and fuel for those that would need to refuel.
