Changed my plugs today 03 V8

Finally got around to changing my plugs today. 03 V8 with 108k. It had all Denso plugs. I replaced them with NGK Laser Iridium. I think the Densos looked pretty good for 108k on em. Drivers plug closest to fire wall was a lil tricky do to brake master/booster. Passenger side required removing the air box. Which actually made it easier with all the room that freed up. Took me about 2hrs. I wasn't rushing and had the game on the radio so I'm guessing it could be done quicker. For some reason the front three bolts on the passenger side coils were pretty rusty, I had to clean them up with a wire brush so I could get a grip on them with the soket. Cleaned them up with brass wire wheel before replacing them. Here are some pics of the old plugs......

Those dont look bad. Must be running good.
I changed mine right after I bought the 4Runner. It had 155,000 miles and the plugs were worn down to the ceramic insulator.

ya, she runs great, hopefully i will get better mpg's....we will see. Trans filter/flush, and diff fluids are next.

Did you end up noticing better MPG's?

Was it pretty easy to tell that you had the new ones threaded in correctly? I'm getting ready for my first ever spark plug replacement.

I'm about to change mine. I figure I need to remove the air filter housing on the passenger side. 3 of bolts also look rusted. The drivers side looks harder near the firewall for exactly the same reason...brake master/booster is in the way. How did you get that spark plug out?
