Roof box

I have the same roof top box and noticed you were able to get the rear hatch all the way open. Do you have any full side pictures showing with the roof box? It looks like it has to be slid a long ways forward, do you have any issues with the front of the box bouncing around?

Anyone know why they sold it? Are they doing a 2014 build?

I've read of at least one other fabricator getting rid of their 5th gen to prepare for a build of the new Taco. I'm sure it also has to do with him saying "it's been their show car for the past three years," since that means most people in the industry and many potential customers have already seen it, and it's probably time to show off something new.

I did slide the box fwd and Re-drilled the holes, shaking the nose isn't bad and when loaded not at all. Pics later today

Thank you for the response. I've been thinking about re-drilling but didn't want to if the front was going to bounce too much. Usually I just have skis and bags up there, keeping most of the weight over the rails is probably to key. Thanks again.

Latest adventure : Oregon dunes. Met up with a BC runner and went in for the first time, got to use my TREDS and got dinged for no safety flag. Didn't get too far in/crazy since I don't know the dunes. Would love to go back with guys who know the area better.. Latest trips

Between the 2016 NWOR and a day trip to Brown's Camp its been a busy month. Got to see Ducmonsta and Swarty again and Swarty led the group in Brown's Camp (thanks!). No pics of the Orange at BC since I haven't gotten pics from the other guys. Added a NorCold 40 qt. fridge, a set of TREDs and Also mounted an Arb Awning (http://www.toyota-4runner.org/5th-gen-t4rs/222644-arb-2500-awning-install.html#post2414976).Next trip will be to McCall Idaho next week. Oh, and she turned 60,000 this week!!!
