Charlotte Area Meet and Greet - BS Session and Cold Beer

Want to get together for a beer and an appetizer somewhere local to talk shop and plan a trail ride?

Want to talk with some folks about suspension options, take an up-close look at some built trucks, and just generally talk about what's worked and what hasn't. Should be helpful for all of us.

Meet at 5 pm on Sun., Sept 20, at Heist Brewery in NoDa! There's a good size parking lot where we can check out the trucks.

You guys heard of Cars and Coffee? Every 1st Sat of the month in the morning at NC Music Factory outside of uptown. Next one is Oct. 3rd. We can meet up there.

Open to lower key event too like the one I just missed. OMB brewery? Somewhere to watch some football too?

Will definitely be there for Cars and Coffee. I've never heard of it before but I've got it on my calendar. Wife's due date is 11/4 so I doubt the November date will work for me. We'll figure out something for grabbing a beer too. What part of Charlotte are you in?

It's probably the largest car meet in the area by far. Upwards of 1000 vehicles last month! Starts early 7-8am, crowds gone by 10-11am. I had to park in the gravel lot, right where I belonged .

sorry just saw this guys.. i'm in the Berewick community in steele creek right off Shopton where they're building that new Harris teeter. i've finally got nc tags on the truck so i don't stand out as much. i'm up for a meet but usually work weekend but not until 2pm.

:dammitamn, I missed this as well! We should have another small get together soon at Sycamore Brewery in South End! They have a large gravel parking lot. I wouldn't mind checking out some other peoples rigs.

Yes, there are usually 20 or so land cruisers and classic FJs. It's a really diverse car meet. It's definitely not your typical rice meet! I stay well clear of those.

Off topic I know, but does anyone in the Charlotte area have a SWR meter so i can tune my CB antenna? I could just go buy one but I figured I would see if I could use one for 10 minutes and save some cash...

ArghArch... If you had gotten up w me a Cpl weeks ago.. I just returned my friends swr meter back to him. Which is out of state now
