Has anyone tried getting one of the cheap $2 Toyota keys on Ebay or the one for $3.20 like this one on Deal Extreme? They aren't smart keys but have an empty handle that you can put the guts of a remote dongle into. I don't think the guts of my remote would fit in there but since I have one key that's bent I was thinking of getting one of these and just cutting off the smart key part of the handle and putting it inside the hollow handle of the new key so it would work the same way. I guess it would have to be taken to a locksmith to get the notches cut in it though.
