Cheap Front lift Option

Hey guys, so I've been looking on classifieds for the rough country spacers for the front because I already have lift components for the back, I just dont want to drop the money on coilovers or TRD and bilsteins yet. So I havent found any and decided to search ebay and this is what I came up with; opinions on build quality/ etc?

If you go with front spacers don't off-road. You will stress the suspension and steering components because you will over droop past factory specs. I had a ball joint failure with some lift spacers I temp used just like your thinking.

Yeah I mean, I'm not planning anything offroad wise right now, dont have any recovery gear, I'm in college- dont wanna break shit i have to pay for etc haha, but yeah its gonna be pretty much a temp thing so I can go ahead and get a lift on then ill replace the front with better stuff later when I have the money a year or two down the road

Just get the billsteins, you don't need the tundra springs. Lift the truck by using the adjustable perches.

That would be the best option for a cheap-ass (not hating, I'm a self-proclaimed cheap-ass too).

Or another way of saying it: it will be more expensive to lift your truck twice than to do it once.

I agree with above post. Spacers will be cheapest. But a set of billies with work a lot better.

With the bilsteins, you can also use stock tundra coils. I've been running mine for almost 4 years now. Picked them up for $50 off craigslist

What type of lift setup do you have for the rear?

If I were you I'd use the $40 towards a set of Bilstein 5100 front shocks. Pair them with you existing front springs for now, then swap the springs in the future.
