I forgot to post a pic of my new offroad jack! It's an aluminum harbor great one. I can pick up the whole front end with it. Sure does beat an old bottle jack!
Ughhhh... what's wrong with the forum? My pictures are always oriented correctly on my computer then they turn sideways when I post them

I found that it flips any pictures that are taken portrait orientation but not landscape ones. So I just make sure I take the picture in landscape orientation
Not sure why the forum does this and I don't have this issue on any of the other forums that I'm on

That's just what happens when you have a huge truck in the woods lol
I cleaned off my dents and they don't look bad at all. Just needs a buff and the quarter panel will be barely noticeable!
Bumper needs a hammer and a couple blocks of wood then a repaint and it'll be good as new!

Well the axle is in...
Yota Yard
Took off my rusted out walker catback to try and warranty it
Cleaned and painted the back part of the frame
The old axle
SO everything went smoothly until I tried the locker out. My harness went up in smoke! :violin: My guess is that the motor is seized and drew too much current but not enough to trip the 20A fuse I put in. I put the diff into "open" with a screwdriver so I could get back to school. I'm going to try and convert it to a cable actuator. Hopefully, I can rig something up easily. But for now, I'm back to open life which is sooooo smooth. I couldn't believe how good an open diff drives after driving with the Aussie for most of the year.

I think there are a few write-ups on yotatech, though the ones I'm thinking of are pretty old. I had a buddy in Knoxville do one.
I've often fantasized about ditching the Aussie in favor of an e-locker or ARB for this very reason.

I've read about 10 threads on yotatech and pirate. I'm just going to experiment around with it. I won't need the locker till mid December, so that's a stress reliever

Thanks for the info. I'm going to look into doing something with it over Thanksgiving break. I have my broken junkyard actuator to play around with too :bluejump:

I've got pics of my e-locker all in pieces in the build thread if you want them though it's pretty obvious stuff. All I can say is watch out for the two tiny little balls in there (or little discs in some e-lockers) and have fun. I did find the back plate that faces the dif had tiny cracks where the shaft goes, something else to look for. So far I have not been lucky enough to find other e-locker broken and not broken or e-locker 3rd members in boneyards. Lucky you!

Had a pretty productive weekend 
Oil changed, rear diff oil changed, washed, RCAM skids painted and put back on, parking brake cable fixed, rear brakes adjusted, driveshaft zerk fixed, gas tank skid pounded back in to place, and I'm fixin to put on my quick release door hinges today

For whatever reason, the forum isn't letting me post pictures right now, so I just have words lol
I was supposed to go camping and wheeling last weekend, but couldn't because of the wildfires in the Chattanooga area
So, I went to the junkyard instead. I found another steering wheel like mine and a Subaru Field Monitor Unit! I'm not quite sure where I want to mount it yet.
I also did some playing around with the E-Locker. I think I have a plan for a cable conversion and it looks pretty simple. Here's a video from Facebook Live
