After that, we headed back up the trail to one of my favorite campsites.

I made pizza in my new dutch oven and it turned out great!

My procedure:
Cover bottom of dutch oven with canned biscuits
Cook them about 75% of the way
Add sauce, cheese, and other toppings
Cook till the top looks done
Enjoy!

I made French Toast for breakfast. Super easy, cheap, and delicious!

Great shots Chuckles89!

Had a fantastic time with y'all. Hope we can make it happen again soon. I don't have many excuses after seeing the trip SRQ-Runner made!

YUCK!
Wicked jealous, except for the muck. Looks like a super awesome time. :)

It was the worst mud I've ever seen up there... even the guy that lives 15 minutes away had never seen it that bad :mmph:

Yep, back during the drought I could get to Teacup without having to worry about getting stuck at all. Most of the time before that you could get through even in the spring with a little help. Now it's just nasty haha. They don't bulldoze it nearly as often as they used to!

I just ordered an AAE steering rack! I probably won't put it in till mine starts leaking worse, but I mainly just wanted to get it before they went out of stock again.

Nemo trip!

We went last Saturday. It was my first time not in the snow lol.

I need to pull the fender support out, hammer the bumper back, and swap the headlight backing plate stuff.

They need a dislike button because nobody likes getting poked in the eye with a tree (?). :D
I'll like when you get it sorted back out, and stop kissing stuff that hits back!

I was enjoying your pics until...dang sorry about the bang up. The great thing is there's no body damage. Bumpers and lights can be repaired.

Ohhh yeahhhhh! Roof basket should be here next Monday! I'm going to have it set up for camping only use. I'm going to use some u-bolts with wing nuts for easy installation and removal on to my current galvanized pipe cross bars.

Plans for it is to have a ghetto version of a "waterport" (it's a fancy pressurized water thing) made out of ABS pipe on one side. It should hold almost 4 gallons if I did my measurements correct. I'll have a fill/vent at the top w/ caps on each end and a spigot siliconed/screwed in to one of the caps. It'll just be used for washing hands and showering if the sun heats the water up enough.

Then, I'm going to make an awning out of a tarp, conduit, and adjustable poles. (6'x8') Here's the how-to: How to build a quality awning for less than $100 - Expedition Portal

I guess the only other things I'll carry up there are my shovel, pick axe, and grill grate.

When I go camping, I'll also load up on firewood if I see a good dead hardwood on the side of the trail.

I also ordered some tire deflators, so I'll be testing those out soon :)

Please excuse the horrible cell phone pic, but I got the front end looking decent. I pretty much need a new bumper. I also need to swap the headlight bases because the adjuster snapped.
