Sorry to see the rollover - these trucks definitely have a high center of gravity. Glad you are OK. I've seen frame swaps but I can't recall a body swap before. Good luck!

Got the roof rack changed out. Only put 2 on for now. Have to bend one back that got slightly tweaked and ordered another extrusion to replace the one that got taco-ed.

I put the driver's side in. I used the stock 4Runner feet and welded plates on the inside of them since the FRS rails are about an inch and a half narrower than the stock seats. The height is pretty good. Maybe half an inch too tall for me, but the seats are a great fit!

Got quite a few things done over the weekend and yesterday.
Flare delete, running board delete, power antenna delete, removed exhaust, back hatch lights & panel, tacked up 1 slider, painted new exhaust, HAM radio antenna, cleaned up battery terminals, removed interior panels for next steps, few other small things.
I have so much to do and don't know where to start!!
Trans cooler should be coming today. I hope to get that done tonight.

Well, the WYO trip was a success! Had a few hicupps with the new truck, but nothing terrible. Locked up fan clutch and 25 year old fan + deep creek crossing = busted fan and radiator. And I also lost a rear shock nut and had to swap out my alternator at camp.

Did the 99+ intake swap on Becky last night. We'll see how much of an improvement it makes this weekend. Going to do the ISR mod whenever I get the tubing for it.

Got the new Coastal High Clearance bumper welded up for Becky! Just gotta grind the outside down now. I'm eventually going to weld the full hoops up. I'm burnt out on welding for now LOL

And finally, got a body donor for Diamond!! 1998 V6 2WD Auto. Bought it with a bad trans, but when I got home, I realized the rear diff is blown out and the trans is fine. Going to swap it out when I have the body off and may sell it with my sushi roll body on it.

Diamond gets a new body.. Glad to see its getting patched up. I tried to make it through your build thread but its just too long ( made it to around 50s). Did your engine make it to 400K without any head gasket replacements etc?
At least you don't have to deal with rot. Most of all my project are all dealing with rot issues of the environment of the Northeast.

I'm 90% sure the engine is all original. Seemed like a 250k mile engine when I got it and the only things I've done to it have been external.

Overall, it wasn't an overly hard job, but it was a TON of things. I even had to pull the whole dash out and replace the wiring harness because I didn't want to chase wiring diagrams to make the starting circuitry work with a manual engine harness and auto body harness... that and the body harness didn't have cruise control.
Took me 4 solid weeks of after work and weekends to get her buttoned up!
Yesterday she went back to work and I believe I got all the gremlins sorted out last night
