Clang/Rattle after lift, not skidplates rattling either

Just put on a Toytec Ultimate lift, using to the 906 springs in the rear and 5125 Bilsteins. I hear a loud rattle/clank sometimes over a bump. I could not find anything underneath that was loose or prone to rattle. Had it aligned and new tires put on, they didn't notice anything either. Any suggestions?

Worn bushings on the links? I have something similar happening, but haven't taken time to look into it. The rear shock mount adapters are know to come loose.

Check your cv boots, and your rear shocks.

My $ is on the shock adaptors if you are using them. Is the sound coming from the front or rear? Next i would move onto sway bar links, they can seem tight with some weight on them but unload and make noise over bumps.

Did you make any panhard bar adjustments to compensate for the lift? If so check the torque on all those bolts. If you didn't make any changes look into it as the angle mostly likely is out of spec. You rear axle is no longer centered under the frame and moves upwardly but at an angle. As such something is either binding or making contact as a result.

Sonoran Steel sells lengthened PHB's. Toytec sells a drop. Ruff Stuff and other sell components to cut and lengthen the factory bar.

I am using the adapters at the top end of the rear shocks, I will have to look into those this weekend, they were a b*tch to get in, so that wouldn't surprise me that they would be making noise.

I did not perform any change to the pan hard bar, but i will go through and check the bushings on the various mounts.

It could definitely be the shock mounts. Did you measure for the extra length shock? Could they be bottoming out?

For the PHB check the alignment of the axle under the frame. A plumb bob and some chalk on the ground makes it pretty easy.
