So if we use Simple Green and a garden hose with a nozzle from a small distance the engine should be fine?
I've never worried about this much before because all my previous vehicles have been older and I didn't have a care as much as I do now.

Water gets on your engine when it rains. Using a hose will be fine. Simple green is harmless on parts.
Yeah. I just assumed that very little got in there vs using a hose directly and soaking it some what. I just wanted to make sure as I need to tackle this engine after a weekend out playing on the mud.
