Clear Paint Protector Rear Door

I need to replace the factory clear chip guard on the rear passenger side door. Does anyone have a part number for this? The parts guys at my local dealer have no idea (ordered 2 wrong parts). This is the piece I need replaced... I repaired the door and molding, but I still need this clear sticker.... Help is appreciated.

just find someone who does clear bras.... you can do more coverage area and better quality film at the same time

ok I am not seeing it.

that line/crease you show in the picture is the crease between the lower and upper panels of the rear quarter panels from what I can tell.

or am I looking at it wrong?

ah ok that a better pic.

that area is normally oem re-inforced across a lot of Toyota'si think from the factory.

now port installed film is different and is in different locations.

Why not just take it in to a place that does clear bra and paint protection and have them match the other side? Im sure they could do that and it wouldnt be more than $40 or so.

People I've been taking it too keep saying it might not come out as clean as the other side. Why won't people just take my damn money!

Weird. Is there a high-end place you can take it to? If you were local, I would send you to an exotic car dealer near me that does a ton of this type of work.

^^^^^^ This.

My local detailer wraps many high end cars and exotics and it looks way better than the film on the 4Runner. I would have them look at the side that is still good and then rip it off. They can do both sides and they will be identical.

Edit: when I typed this Resqlab's response wasn't there.

WTF!?!?!?!

It is clear bra, nothing else! They used it all the way back in the 80's on my old xtra cab, and they are still using it today! Its nothing different than the rolls of paint protection film shops like me have layin' around, but Toyota (or whatever company they use for the PPF) has a computer pattern and machine to cut it in mass quantities.

Any shop that's worth a shidt should be able to do this in about 15 minutes! If they can't, then get out of there quickly!

If you really want it exactly the same as the other side (although you would never be able to tell since you can't see both sides at the same time!), have them run transfer tape (a high-tech name for really-wide masking tape!) over the existing piece, trace it out, then stick it to the BACK side of the paint protection film and cut it out on the table! They can then clean the other side with a clay bar, alcohol the area, spray it with soapy water, stick it, squeegee it, and collect 30 or 40 bucks from you!
