Clicking Heard/Felt in Steering Wheel Upon Acceleration

This is a VERY intermittent thing that barely happens. But like the title says, sometimes when accelerating, usually slightly on an incline, I hear a click/ping and feel it in the steering wheel. It has happened in both drive and reverse. I have noticed it only happening on slow accelerations. It rarely happens but it just happened yesterday so I want to try to figure it out and find out if I have a problem. Any ideas?

I'm gonna bump this, happened twice today. It's more like a popping. Sounds like a metal ping and I feel it in the steering wheel. Only happens sometimes when accelerating from a dead stop. Any ideas?

I think I'm getting this as well, mostly right after I head out the driveway with everything cold.

I saw your control arm post, thinking that's it?

Mine have 160k on them and look wasted...

Yeah I believe that's what it is. I'm able to duplicate it consistently. If I hard accelerate from a stop it does it, to do it again, I have to hard accelerate from a stop in reverse. I think the whole control arm(s) move (bushings must be shot). Eventually I'll jack it up and try to move them with a pry bar, but I'm fairly certain that's it.
