Climate Control doesn't light up?

It started few minutes ago. I turned on my headlights and so my gauges and climate control lights should turn on but my CC didn't? Only the A/C button is on only? I checked my fuse, everything is okay. Anyone has ANY idea what happen? The only mod i recent did was taken out my window switch trim. and that's it?

If the fuses are ok, it could be that the LED that lights up the climate controls is blown.

hmm! if it is the LED, then here comes another mod! keke. but any other ideas what could happen would help. thanks!

No, i haven't found the problem. But it did came back on which was annoying. Then it went off again. So i got tired of it and did my own LED mod for my climate control. It's very simple. Here's a picture of it. You can see the A/C button is green, which is stock. And then the climate control is clear white. It's only one LED so you don't have to solder anything. I wired the LED to my cigerette lighter. If you want, i'll make a quick write-up about it.

That actually looks good.

If it's wired to your cig lighter, I assume the light is always on when the key is engaged?

I would like to see a write-up, if the fix is fairly easy.

Correction, i meant the cigerette ashtray. Sorry. Everytime you turn on your corner lights, your climate control and shift knob light will come on. And it's fairly simple. It might look hard because you have to take out your whole center console but it's really simple. Just need the time. I'll make a write-up tomorrow after i get out of my classes.

There is no rush on the DIY write up since it is Super Bowl weekend and I doubt I'll be working on the car. Plus, I'll be out of town for a week after that.

I checked out your pictures of your ride. Looks nice. Did you ever get the accident resolved? Same thing happended to my rear bumper. It cost about $300 in Toyota parts and 2 hours to bolt on / bolt off the replacement bumper. (Mine may have been a little more expensive since one of the corner peices also had to be replaced.)

Driving home tonight, I look down and my Climate Control lights are now back on - just like yours.

I'll have to see how long this lasts.

It'll turn off again. That what happened to me. After i install this LED to my climate control, seems normal now. I think it's because of the A/C or Heater vents is near the top. If you take out your climate control, the controls is right below the vents. so maybe that could be the problem
