Climate Control-Heat Not Cranking

I parked outside last nice and when I started her up this am it was -10C / +8F. By the time I brushed off the snow the seats were warm and I paid attention to when I had heat, it was about 9mins after I started driving (LE in Auto climate setting), and probably was <5mins I spent brushing snow off the roof and hood. I would say it's pretty acceptable, and similar to the V8 Audi I had before this. My only minor gripes (insert citation to expectations thread....) were that I had to keep the front windshield defrost on for 20 mins to get the two rear passenger windows to defog, and that the Tundra heated steering wheel would've been nice.

Thanks buddy. Actually I received an email from Toyota directly for my stance. What annoyed me so much is the fact that everybody thinks they should get the world for 40k. Is it chump change no. But you could spend a little more money and get a nicer vehicle. Oddly enough you could spend less and get a not nicer vehicle (since I am a retard). The inflation on the runner is far less than some other vehicles out there. Besides the fact the deciding what you should or shouldn't get and got things should or shouldn't operate on a 40k vehicle is a matter of opinion anyway. To the OP, I don't have any insight. I'm just trolling another thread where somebody complains about what there doesn't do or didn't come with for the 40k. There should be a sticky for that

First off again, had you read my initial post i wasnt complaining, I was looking to see if anyone has had the same issues and making sure I didn't have a malfunction with my climate control. Ironically it appears I'm not alone with this issue. Second, no one is asking for the world for 40k, just some heat. Finally, I'm glad you found my post attractive enough on your trolling mission to include it into your project about "what does or doesn't come in a truck for 40k". I think most would agree sufficient heat should be included. Let me know if I make the sticky please. Thanks again.

One of the coldest winters on record in this area (single digit or negative temps consistently), and my anecdotal comment is it's on the slower side to heat up I need to warm it up a good 15-20 minutes if I don't want to suffer. :beer:
